Our Day in DC
Hello All:
We had a fantastic day with our Young Scientists visiting the sites of DC before the big presentation tomorrow.
We loaded into Lyfts and off to DC we went :)
We then loaded on to an Air-Conditioned Bus that zoomed us around the city to various sites.
We started with the White House. The street just before the White House was closed so we were a little far away but.. We still got to see the home of the nation's president.
We then left from there to the amazing WWII Memorial.
The MLK Memorial was Amazing.

From WWII Memorial we went to the Jefferson Memorial:
From there we went to the Amazing FDR Memorial:
From there we walked along the Tidal Basin to the MLK Memorial.
Along the way we saw a turtle.
From there we went to one of the most amazing memorials in the World - The Lincoln Memorial. We went through the Korean War Memorial on the way there and saw the wall with faces and no names.
We then walked through the Vietnam Memorial

We stopped for lunch and then loaded a water taxi for a cruise of the Potomac.
We then had one last stop at the US Capitol Building
Now back to the hotel -
