The Eagle Has Landed...

And the children were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of space shuttles danced in their heads. After a long day of traveling from one coast to the other everyone, we are all safely encamped in Chantilley VIrginia. The entire team did great today looking out for each other and generally just having a pleasant time, well as pleasant as you can have in a flying tube for nearly six hours. Tomorrow we will spend the day sightseeing before getting ready for the first day of the SSEP National Conference on Monday. Be on the lookout for more from this exciting trip but for now it’s goodnight from Virginia.

We are so proud of all the students at John Muir Middle school and are proud to showcase their hard work.

We are excited to take our Mission 12 winners to Washington DC in June/July 2019 to present their findings as scientists at the Smithsonian at the annual SSEP Convention.

This event would not be possible without the support of several extremely important people in fundraising - especially the support of the California Resource Corporation and B. Joe Ashley, California Assemblymen Rudy Salas, the Hanford Soroptimist's, and the support of the media including Tina Botill and Jeanette Todd from the Corcoran Journal, the Hanford Sentinel, Cristina Davies and Brian T. We will be fundraising to support our Mission 13 young ladies as they will present their findings on their experiment which is launching in Mid-July. You can donate here.
