Last Night in DC

We had a blast on our last night in DC.

We Went to Union Station and then ate at the Thunder Grill

The Thunder Grill gets its name from the sound of the trains that rumble underneath at Union Station.

We then loaded the Trolly and headed out on our Moonlight tour of the Monuments.

And then it poured.

And Poured EVEN MORE

But we didn't let that stop us.

And then it cleared

We saw Arlington and the Iwo Jima Memorial

We then headed to the Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial.

We are so proud of all the students at John Muir Middle school and are proud to showcase their hard work.

We are excited to take our Mission 12 winners to Washington DC in June/July 2019 to present their findings as scientists at the Smithsonian at the annual SSEP Convention.

This event would not be possible without the support of several extremely important people in fundraising - especially the support of the California Resource Corporation and B. We will be fundraising to support our Mission 13 young ladies as they will present their findings on their experiment which is launching in Mid-July. You can donate here.
